WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR PHOTO SHOOT
If you’re not sure what to wear, consider some of the following:
· Bring a nice soft robe to cover yourself between wardrobe changes, etc... · Bring makeup and hair styling items of your own for touch-ups if needed. · Bring thigh high stockings with or without garters (Black, White & Red are always good colors). Remember for size you want them bigger than too small. You don’t want your top thighs bulging over top of stockings.
·
Feel free to bring some of your
favorite music CD's with you. TIPS FOR LOOKING YOUR BEST FOR YOUR PICTURES: · Try to not have tan lines for your shoot. Either avoid tanning altogether, tan in the nude, or get a GOOD spray tan. (If you do have a spray tan you can not use our costumes & lingerie as the tan sometimes comes off on our costumes & is hard to remove) · Get your eyebrows waxed (or tweeze them) a couple of days BEFORE your shoot. Well-groomed eyebrows are a must for great photos, but you don’t want post-waxing redness to be a problem. Give them a couple days to calm down. · Moisturize your entire body with a light lotion before your shoot. (no body oils, powders, or bronzers, though!) · If you really want to look like a model, take steps to insure that body hair (anywhere and everywhere) is to a minimum. Choose your own method, but barer is always better in photographs. · Get plenty of rest the night before your shoot and avoid overindulging in food or drink. Eat something light on the day of your shoot. · Don’t wear tight-fitting clothing/undergarments on the day of your shoot. These leave unsightly body lines & red marks that can stay with you for hours! · Chin out, shoulders back, suck it in, and elongate the neck and torso - four things to remember in posing for every shot!
HERE ARE SOME MAKEUP TIPS FOR YOUR SHOOT: Hair and make-up should be done prior to shoot. · Put on makeup as though you are going out for a fancy evening. This is generally heavier than your usual "look", and will usually appear light and natural under the studio lighting. · Use a bit more foundation than normal, carefully blending it from your face down to your upper body. If you plan to wear something revealing, you do not want your face to be one color and your upper body another color. · Lipstick should be at least one shade deeper than usual. Especially if your hair or clothing is black. Make your lips look super plush by lining them with a pencil close to your natural lip color and filling in with a shiny gloss. Avoid frosted lipstick as it show up very light in photos. · Do not forget a manicure and pedicure. Chipped or dull nails can ruin an otherwise perfect look. · We highly recommend fake eyelashes if you want them to look long & luscious. Not the extravagant ones… just enough to enhance your own eyelashes. False eyelashes make your eyes pop on film, and they create a dramatic bedroom look when topped with black eyeliner. · Blush and eye makeup should be applied slightly heavier than normal but neatly and precisely. · Eye shadow should be a shade lighter so that the eyes are brought forward. · Use a powder-based makeup as oil-based makeup appears shiny, OR use an application of powder to achieve a matte finish on the skin. HAIR:If you have medium-to-long hair,
wear it down during your boudoir shoot. Shiny, cascading hair looks
sexy and will give you lots of ways to pose: Running your fingers through
it, twirling it innocently or fanning it out over a pillow are just a few
ideas. |
